This April, MathWorks is hosting a free Automotive Online Webinar Series designed specifically for Formula Student and Formula Student Driverless teams. The series showcases end to end automotive and driverless workflows using MATLAB and Simulink, from early concept modeling through to production oriented deployment.

The sessions begin with core vehicle dynamics and controls, including suspension, tire, and powertrain modeling, and progress to full vehicle simulation and performance analysis.

Building on these fundamentals, the series explores embedded and production workflows, including model based design, continuous integration testing, automatic code generation, and deployment using automotive communication protocols such as CAN.

The series concludes with driverless system development, covering perception and deep learning workflows using camera and LiDAR data, system integration, and co simulation with ROS and Unreal Engine.

All sessions are delivered by MathWorks engineers and are tailored to the challenges faced by student competition teams.
