During review of scores for Formula SAE Electric 2018, we found that the Efficiency Results were incorrect. Though we try our best to make sure our results are accurate before presenting at the awards ceremony unfortunately mistakes can happen.
The change in Efficiency scores has resulted in a revised top three in the Efficiency event. Winners will be sent trophies from SAE International. We will not be requesting trophies be sent back that have already been presented onsite.
Revised Top 3 in Efficiency:
1st Place - Car #230 Montreal Polytechnique
2nd Place - Car #217 Georgia Institute of Technology
3rd Place - Car #208 University of Wisconsin- Madison
The change in the Efficiency event also affects the overall standings of some teams in the Top 15. Winners in the will be sent trophies from SAE International for the Top 5 teams. We will not be requesting trophies be sent back that have already been presented onsite.
Revised Top 5 Overall Finishers:
1st Place - Car #223 Carnegie Mellon University
2nd Place - Car #234 McGill University
3rd Place - Car #205 University of Washington

We understand some teams may be happy with the changes and some may not, however, if we make a mistake we will correct it regardless of the outcome.
To all teams affected, apologies for this mistake.
