SAE announces today that the Formula SAE Michigan competition is officially a GO. With the competition just under 30 days out, key volunteers and SAE staff are hard at work prepping the event site!
Though the competition has been given the green light, SAE does want to caution to all attendees that event operations could still be affected by COVID-19 if situations in Michigan change as the competition operations are still required to operate per state/local, CDC and venue guidelines.
The 2021 Formula SAE Michigan Validation Event Plan has been released and includes specifics regarding event operations in relation to COVID. Highlights include but not limited to event will not be open to spectators and team sizes have been increased to allow 15 team members and 1 faculty advisor.
