Formula SAE teams aiming to sharpen their design processes and work more effectively in CAD won’t want to miss the upcoming workshop: “CAD Collaboration – Working Efficiently as a Team in CAD.” This session will provide student engineers with the tools they need to thrive in a team-driven design environment.

Presented by Onshape Education Solutions Engineers Chris Tilton and Eric Hall, the workshop will explore key concepts such as Top-Down design, efficient team collaboration, and real-time project management — all within the powerful cloud-based Onshape platform. Whether it’s laying out a chassis or refining suspension geometry, participants will walk away with practical techniques to bring their vehicle designs to the next level.

The 90-minute session is divided into a 45-minute presentation and a 45-minute activity, allowing attendees to immediately apply new concepts through hands-on experience.

Chris Tilton, a Tufts University graduate, brings a background in AI applications in CAD and a passion for educational innovation. Eric Hall, a graduate of North Dakota State University, contributes years of experience in both design engineering and academic support, making him uniquely suited to guide student teams through collaborative challenges.

Don’t miss this opportunity to empower your team with the skills and workflows that can make or break a Formula SAE season. Whether you're new to CAD or looking to fine-tune your team's collaboration strategy, this workshop is designed to drive results.
