The 2027 SES has been released under Series Resources. 2027 rules changes and all known 2026 SES issues have been addressed. Please report any malfunctioning parts of the SES here.
We can generally fix problems with SES formulas after submission.

An approved 2027 SES is required for all teams. Do not delete or replace any tabs except for F.4.3 Composite Testing. Using programs other than Excel on the desktop for official submissions breaks formatting and formula protection, making the SES unacceptable. The maximum file size for an SES is 40Mb.

SES Submissions will open on 5 Oct 2026, and reviewing will begin immediately. Reviews are generally completed in the order of submission. Submissions that are incomplete are sent to the back of the queue. Teams are given up to 48 hours after each review before the Tech Inspection Order clock starts. The clock stops with each new sumbission. Please make sure every item is fixed, and comment with a description of each fix and where to find images in the SES. Please give your reviewer a schedule if there are unavoidable delays, and reasonable accommodations will be made.

Please use the same units in images to confirm entries as the SES, or show all conversions.

Manufacturing generally does not have to be complete before approval, only design. There is no Tech Inspection Order time increase for resubmission. Please resubmit if the car changes, so the document matches the car, and Tech Inspection is faster and less stressful. Whenever you are resubmitting, during or after approval, please explain each change, and where to find images.
