SAE International is pleased to announce several important updates for the 2027 Formula SAE season.
- The 2027 Formula SAE Rules are now available. Teams are encouraged to review the rules as they begin their design and development activities for the upcoming competition season.
- Additional templates and supporting materials for the 2027 season are currently being prepared and will be released on a timely basis as they become available.
Teams should also note an important change to the Formula SAE Electric competition schedule. Due to a conflict with NASCAR scheduling, the competition has been moved earlier in June.
Formula SAE Electric will now take place June 1–5, 2027.
FSAEOnline.com has been updated to reflect the revised competition dates, as well as the applicable document submission deadlines. Teams should review the updated schedule and submission requirements and make the necessary planning adjustments for the 2027 competition season.
Additional information and 2027 season updates will be communicated as they become available. Teams are encouraged to monitor official Formula SAE communications and resources throughout the season.
