Position Title: Tilt Table Volunteer
Committee/Team/Activity: Formula SAE Technical Inspection
Position Description:This is a scrutineering requirement where the fluid leakage and roll-over potential of the vehicles is tested using a tilting platform. All cars are required to pass these tests before they can run.
Tilt Table Volunteers will conduct tilt test to check for fluid leaks and confirm the vehicles stability. Once team passes the tilt table test a volunteer will award a tech sticker for approval.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications/ Experience:Volunteers should have a general familiarity with motor vehicles.
Orientation and Training: All volunteers will need to read the rules, and will be given onsite training at the competition to operate the tilt table.
