Tractive Battery Pack Overnight
General Rules:
- Each night: Place the Tractive Battery Pack in your team's assigned Tractive Battery Pack Storage Tote before leaving the event site.
- Only the following items are allowed in the tote:
- The Tractive Battery Pack itself
- The Tractive Battery Pack container
- Safety reminders: Follow EV.4.10.2 and EV.11.4.2 apply when moving Tractive Battery Pack and Tractive Battery Pack containers.
Tractive Battery Pack Overnight Storage Tote
- Assignment: Each team receives a specific tote for their Tractive Battery Pack.
- Sizes: Two sizes of totes exist; tote size issued will be dependent on Tractive Battery Pack size.
- Location: Designated area onsite, away from team paddocks.
- Protection: Each team gets:
- A pallet cover
- A pallet band (large rubber band)
- Modification: Teams must not modify their tote.
Onsite Process:
- Assignment of Storage Unit:
- A volunteer assigns an overnight storage unit.
- Teams will use the same unit throughout the event week.
- Checking In Tractive Battery Pack:
- Teams must check in with a volunteer before 7:30 PM each night.
- If leaving early, ensure a volunteer marks the Tractive Battery Pack as turned in.
- When unsure, check with EV Tech or Student Registration areas.
- Retrieving Tractive Battery Pack:
- Tractive Battery Pack can be retrieved any time the next morning.
- If it is not raining, place the rubber band and pallet cover inside the tote to indicate the Tractive Battery Pack has been removed.
