2024 FSAE Event Dates, Locations & Reg Dates
Registration will be split into two days this year in an effort to reduce traffic load. Internal Combustion registration for the Formula SAE Michigan and Formula Hybrid events will open on Wednesday the 20th, with Formula SAE Electric registration occurring the next day on the 21st. Payment will be expected 2 business days after your invoice has generated (~72 hours after registration secured). As usual, registration will be held at https://www.sae.org/attend/student-events at 10:00 AM Eastern.

Pre-Registration Has Returned!
Teams who have placed top 10 overall in the 2023 season will be awarded the opportunity to register up to one week prior to registration opening to the general public. The registration is restricted to the correlating event location of the previous year. Aka, if you were a top ten placement team for IC class in 2023, you will have the ability to pre-register for the IC competition 2024 event. You may not swap classes. 2023 top placing IC teams will be able to pre-register starting the 13th and EV teams will be able to pre-register on the 14th. Here is the complete list of 2024 pre-registration eligible teams. Pre-registration does not apply to Formula Hybrid.
Waitlist Info:
- waitlist teams do not pay until offered a registration spot
- waitlist teams must submit all required documents to maintain waitlist status
- waitlist teams will have 24 hours to accept or decline a registration list offer
- waitlist closes one month prior to event
